Luxury Lifestyle Retail Director – Private Club Department:

POSITION SUMMARY The

Luxury Lifestyle Retail Director

is responsible for curating and leading the retail sales vision across Bluejack’s luxury lifestyle retail outlets. This role shapes the

merchandise strategy, buying program, vendor partnerships, visual merchandising standards, and member retail experience

to ensure every retail environment reflects the elevated lifestyle of the Bluejack brand.

The Luxury Lifestyle Retail Director oversees the retail strategy and product assortment for Bluejack – including

The Sanctuary (Spa & Wellness) ,

The Fort (Children, Teens, Family Amenities) , Raquet Sports and the STPGA award winning

The Closet (Golf Pro Shop)

as well as other logo apparel and accessories. Each retail outlet must deliver a cohesive, elevated, and thoughtfully curated experience that aligns with the expectations of our members and guests.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate for the Luxury Lifestyle Retail Director – Private Club role is a

luxury lifestyle merchant and hospitality-driven retail leader

who understands how retail can elevate the member experience within a private club environment. This individual combines

strong merchandising instincts, strategic buying expertise, and relationship-driven service

to curate retail experiences that feel personal, elevated, and distinctly Bluejack.

They are both

analytical and creative —able to interpret sales data and inventory performance while also identifying emerging brands, styling trends, and merchandising opportunities that resonate with a sophisticated membership base.

Understands luxury hospitality and service standards

Creates a welcoming and polished retail environment

Coaches team members on product knowledge and service

Integrates retail into club events, seasonal programming, and member experiences

Tailors merchandise strategies to each outlet

Comes from a luxury retail or high-end pro shop environments working with premium apparel or lifestyle retail brands/vendors such as the example Top Target brand list below

Stylish but approachable, highly organized and detail-oriented, entrepreneurial and creative, service-minded, financially disciplined and collaborative with other departments

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Lead the

overall retail vision and merchandise strategy

for The Closet, The Sanctuary, Racquet Sports and The Fort.

Curate assortments that reflect

luxury lifestyle trends, golf and racquet sports culture, wellness, and family experiences

consistent with the Bluejack brand.

Develop and implement

visual merchandising standards and seasonal presentations

that elevate the retail experience and maximize product storytelling.

Maintain thoughtful product flow and assortment balance across apparel, accessories, gifts, wellness products, and children’s merchandise.

Work collaboratively with the leaders of the different business units to develop a cohesive approach to the retail business of Bluejack.

Buying & Inventory Management

Lead all

merchandise buying and assortment planning

across retail outlets.

Analyze

sales trends, inventory levels, and member purchasing behaviors

to inform buying decisions.

Manage product lifecycle including

forecasting, purchasing, inventory control, markdown strategy, and replenishment .

Maintain appropriate inventory levels while maximizing

sell-through and retail profitability .

Vendor Partnerships & Brand Relationships

Establish and maintain strong

vendor relationships with premium and lifestyle brands .

Identify and introduce

new and emerging brands

that align with the Bluejack lifestyle.

Negotiate

pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and exclusivity opportunities

where appropriate.

Partner with brands on

special events, trunk shows, member experiences, and product launches .

Champion a culture of

luxury hospitality within retail environments , ensuring every member interaction reflects Bluejack’s service philosophy.

Develop and implement

clienteling strategies , including personalized product recommendations, member outreach and curated shopping experiences.

Partner with Golf, Racquet Sports, Wellness and Recreation teams to integrate retail into

member programming, events and seasonal activations .

Retail Operations

Maintain accurate

inventory tracking, reporting and retail analytics .

Oversee retail operational standards including

pricing, tagging, receiving, merchandising and product presentation .

Collaborate with department leaders to align retail offerings with

club programming and amenity experiences .

Monitor financial performance including

sales, margin and inventory turnover metrics .

Support and mentor retail associates to deliver

exceptional member service and product knowledge .

Foster a culture of

hospitality, ownership and accountability

within retail operations.

Participate in operational and leadership meetings as required.

Additional Responsibilities

Maintain organized purchasing records and vendor communications.

Assist with

special retail initiatives, seasonal programs and merchandising projects .

Perform other job-related duties or projects assigned by leadership.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

5+ years of retail leadership experience

in luxury lifestyle, hospitality, golf/racquet sports or premium retail environments.

Demonstrated experience in

merchandise buying, assortment planning and inventory management .

Strong understanding of

luxury merchandising, brand presentation and visual merchandising standards .

Proven ability to build and maintain

vendor and brand partnerships .

Experience developing

clientele relationships and personalised retail experiences .

Strong analytical skills with the ability to

interpret sales data and retail performance metrics .

Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook)

and retail POS or inventory systems.

Experience with

Northstar CMS or club management systems

preferred.

Ability to work

weekends, holidays and flexible schedules

as required by club operations.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, Fashion or related field preferred.

Experience in high‑end retail, private clubs, golf resorts or luxury hospitality environments strongly preferred.
