– multi-story projects requiring coordination across tight urban footprints

– complex MEP integration and tenant coordination

– strict regulatory compliance and phased construction in occupied environments
Mixed-use developments
– integrating residential, commercial, and community spaces
You will be responsible for
full project lifecycle oversight
— from
site mobilization, excavation, and foundations
to
final finishes, inspections, TCO, and turnover . This role offers a unique opportunity to lead

Who You Are You are a
hands‑on, DOB‑licensed superintendent
with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality construction projects in NYC. You have:
A
DOB Superintendent License
— mandatory for NYC regulated projects
Experience managing
multi‑discipline trades
and
union labor crews
Expertise in
residential, commercial, and healthcare projects , including complex MEP, structural, and architectural coordination
Strong knowledge of
NYC DOB regulations, city inspections, permit processes, and safety compliance
Proven ability to
develop, manage, and recover project schedules
under tight urban site constraints
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills to
motivate field crews and enforce accountability
A commitment to
quality, safety, and productivity
on every project
The Role – What You Will Do As Lead / Senior Superintendent, you will:
Serve as the
primary on‑site authority , managing all field operations from mobilization to final turnover
Oversee
site logistics, sequencing, safety, and quality control , ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget
Coordinate and supervise
subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field personnel
Liaise with
owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies
Monitor
daily progress, workforce allocation, material delivery, and safety compliance
Conduct
site inspections, track punch lists, and verify milestones
Mentor junior superintendents and field staff, fostering a culture of
professionalism, discipline, and teamwork
Anticipate challenges and provide
proactive solutions
to maintain schedule, cost, and quality
