
Arts Camp Assistant Site Director

Job Summary
Assists site director with planning, implementing, and supervising a visual/performing arts camp for children, ages 3.5 to 12, in a day camp setting. The camps include instruction in two‑ and three‑dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video, and creative writing.
Responsibilities
Assist in training and supervision of camp staff
Assist and collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe camp environment
Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
Qualifications
College degree or coursework in the arts, education or related field or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with artists
Must be able to physically keep up with children
Responsible and reliable
Prior camp experience and experience working with children
Schedule Camp season runs June 1 through August 9, 2026. Additional assignments may be required through October. You must be available for full weeks to work.
