Director of Enrollment Management Strategy

Position Overview: The Director of Enrollment Management Strategy will direct all initiatives within the Division of Enrollment Management related to the strategic approach to enrollment markets, collaborating with the college communications and marketing team to execute campaigns. This position is a key contributor to the college’s enrollment strategy, leading targeted and data‑driven campaigns to increase enrollment across all degree‑seeking student populations while focusing on improving the yield at every stage of the enrollment funnel. Responsibilities

Develop and execute enrollment plans in collaboration with the college marketing and communications team to address targeted market needs that align with strategic enrollment goals. Analyze enrollment funnel metrics and market research to identify opportunities and barriers in the student recruitment journey. Provide strategic counsel to the Vice President for Enrollment Management on market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging recruitment strategies. Act as chief liaison within the Division of Enrollment Management to the College‑wide marketing and external affairs division, ensuring integrated, student‑centered enrollment marketing. Leverage Slate CRM advanced features for predictive modeling, automated communication workflows, and personalized student engagement. Ensure CRM market segments are managed and tracked daily to optimize performance. Manage staff of enrollment coordinators to support needs of the Enrollment Management division. Work with the college communications and marketing team to ensure all market segments have active campaigns. Create specialized campaigns for adult learners, emphasizing flexible scheduling, credit for prior learning, and financial support options. Develop ACE‑to‑degree pathway campaigns that clearly communicate transition opportunities and support services. Measure impact of enrollment campaigns at every stage of the enrollment funnel. Implement tracking, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis for all enrollment markets. Utilize predictive analytics to inform targeting, messaging, and resource allocation decisions. Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to communicate marketing performance to division leadership. Lead efforts to simplify and shorten the application‑to‑registration process through clear, timely, and supportive communications. Embed a "Student Experience Mindset" into all marketing touchpoints, seeing LaGuardia from prospective students' perspectives. Develop welcome and yield campaigns that increase conversion from admission to enrollment. Create onboarding communications that support student transition and early engagement. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least eight years of related professional experience. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Higher Education Administration, or related field. Minimum eight years of professional experience. Demonstrated success managing enrollment communications or marketing campaigns with measurable enrollment outcomes. Expert knowledge of digital marketing platforms, marketing analytics, and CRM systems. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft compelling messages for highly segmented and diverse audiences. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence in marketing practices. Data‑driven decision‑making approach with strong analytical capabilities. Strong managerial experience in an educational setting. Experience in community college or urban public higher education settings. Knowledge of higher education student information systems (Peoplesoft a plus). Knowledge of SLATE CRM. Experience marketing to adult learners and diverse, first‑generation college student populations. Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies in enrollment marketing contexts. Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $91,878 - $136,546. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
