The Inn at Atlantic Heights Residential Services Director
The Inn at Atlantic Heights offers a choice of 64 Assisted‑Living Apartments featuring companion suites, studios, one and two bedrooms, all with the comforts of home. The facility is part of Seal Rock Health Care, a 105‑bed long‑term and skilled facility operated under First Atlantic Healthcare. The Inn and Seal Rock follow First Atlantic’s long‑standing reputation for excellence.
Position Summary Overall leadership, direction and responsibility for the day‑to‑day operations of this Residential Care Community and Independent Living Cooperative. The Residential Services Administrator will lead, in collaboration with the Company Chief Operating Officer, effective strategies to meet or exceed facility goals in the following four key areas, which are interdependent and equally important when it comes to goal attainment:
Market Share
Customer and Employee Satisfaction
Quality and Compliance
Profitability
In pursuit of these goals, the administrator oversees all aspects of resident life including satisfaction, health status, safety, security, and rights. The administrator directs and manages the daily operations in accordance with applicable state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that First Atlantic properties operate effectively and efficiently. The administrator is expected to role‑model behavior in keeping with the mission and values, evidenced by active participation in activities, town hall meetings, and interactions with residents and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
RN or LPN preferred
Organized and detail oriented in work performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with self‑discipline and patience
Strong customer service skills; marketing and sales experience preferred
Experience managing independent housing cooperatives preferred
Genuine caring for and interest in working with seniors
Experience with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements for senior housing environments preferred
Compliance with Residents’ Rights, State of Maine Residential Care regulations, and Facility Policies and Procedures
Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements
Perform essential duties as outlined above
