How You'll Make An Impact

The Generative AI Product Owner will work closely with Gallagher Bassett’s global business and IT organizations to achieve the following objectives: Be a leader in establishing strategies to leverage AI to meet GB’s business objectives and drive outcomes for GB and our clients Collaborate with business stakeholders and AI professionals to prioritize initiatives, define project goals, and execute Gen AI initiatives Oversee and lead the execution of AI vision projects, coordinating AI, data science, IT, and business resources Establish AI governance to ensure Gen AI initiative prioritization and execution aligns with merits and business benefits Devise implementation approaches that produce Gen AI applications that are flexible, maintainable, and adaptable to changing needs Drive change management for the implementation of new Gen AI applications Contribute ideas for using Generative AI to improve GB’s competitiveness, quality, responsiveness, and efficiency Drive organizational awareness on AI advancements, address ethical considerations, and support continuous learning to drive innovation Responsibilities

Business alignment (contributor): Ensure Gen AI initiatives align with GB business goals Stakeholder engagement (leader): Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, IT, and external partners Gen AI program execution (leader): Drive the Gen AI vision; oversee efforts from AI, data science, IT, and business teams Business IT project management (partner): Collaborate with IT project leaders to manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources Ethical AI practices (leader): Ensure development and deployment consider bias, privacy, and transparency Monitor and evaluate AI initiatives (leader): Track progress and assess impact on business outcomes Team collaboration & mentorship (contributor): Provide guidance and support to team members Continuous learning (leader): Stay updated with AI advancements, trends, and best practices About You

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering (or commensurate experience) and 7 years related product development experience Ability to work independently with minimal direction Desired: Experience conducting research, compiling and analyzing data, and identifying trends to support product decisions Work Traits

Excellent oral, negotiating, influencing and written communication abilities; strong organizational and time management skills Strong creative and interpersonal skills Compensation and Benefits

Actual compensation depends on factors including experience, education, location, complexity, skill set, and scope.
