Director of Treatment Services Location: Abraxas Academy, 1000 Academy Dr., Morgantown, PA 19543

Salary Range: $90,000 annually

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

Devising strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.

Planning and overseeing all patient care or administrative operations and programs.

Developing and overseeing facility operational policies and procedures in accordance with appropriate standards, rules, and regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.

Coordinating interfacing of clinical services with educational, medical, community services, family services, and the training department.

Preparing appropriate reports and correspondence of all treatment services in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with applicable standards of care.

Assessing and monitoring service resource utilization and assisting with performance improvement processes.

Ensuring that programming and services are appropriate to meet the needs of the clients of the facility.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education, or a clinical specialty in the human services), public administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a human services agency, including supervision of others, direct service, and program planning.

Preferred: current licensure in PA as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a higher-level credential.

At least 21 years of age.

Valid PA Driver's License.

Knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency/mental health clients, age-specific client issues, limit setting, behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques.

Knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DDAP, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.).

Experience with staff development procedures and requirements.

Strong oral, telephonic, and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of computer systems and various software; good documentation, organization, and time management skills.

Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
