Overview
HyerTek is seeking a
Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst
to support the design, configuration, and delivery of solutions across the
Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem .
This role will lead
requirements discovery, functional design, and system configuration , working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, user-centered solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in
business process analysis, Power Platform capabilities, and Dynamics 365 , with the ability to support a wide range of enterprise and government use cases, including case management, workflow automation, and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements.
Document user stories, acceptance criteria, business processes, and functional specifications.
Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration approaches across Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
Configure and support solutions using Dataverse, Power Apps (model-driven and/or canvas), and Power Automate.
Support configuration and functional design across Dynamics 365 applications as needed.
Define and configure tables/entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules, and automation processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify and guide customization, integration, and extension requirements.
Recommend solution approaches aligned with platform capabilities, governance, and best practices.
Develop test scripts, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate solutions against business requirements.
Support training, documentation, and user adoption efforts, including creation of user guides and release notes.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives, platform standards, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience supporting IT system implementations as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Consultant.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
Experience working with Dynamics 365 applications (Customer Engagement, CRM, or related solutions).
Strong understanding of data modeling, workflows, automation, and business process design.
Experience leading requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
Experience producing clear functional documentation and deliverables.
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
Experience supporting case management, workflow automation, or service delivery solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal, state, or local government clients.
Experience implementing enterprise or citizen-facing service platforms.
Microsoft certifications (Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365).
Experience with Power BI or reporting/analytics solutions.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Compensation The salary range for this position is
$110,000 – $130,000 annually , depending on experience, qualifications, location, and contract requirements.
