What you’ll do
Data driven approach informing rigorous clinical operations
Implementing operational utilization metrics to increase access for surgical cases and optimizing cases by surgical platform type
Inventory optimization to impact right item right time for patient care
What you bring As an accomplished operational leader, you bring the experience, judgment, and analytical skills to optimize operations across the perioperative service line.
Key responsibilities include
Direct the financial performance of Perioperative Services, including interpreting and monitoring annual supply budgets, partnering with clinicians, supply chain/value analysis, and product evaluation and standardization.
Prepare annual capital equipment budgets ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Facilitate the creation of an asset management database across entities detailing equipment, age, end‑of‑life and end‑of‑service dates to inform equipment transfer across entities and aggregate pricing opportunities.
Support enterprise permanent technology inventory implementation across DUHS surgical platforms and procedural areas.
Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, resource optimization and standardization of services across DUHS Perioperative Services.
Analyze surgical billing and revenue trends as informed by case posting and auditing.
Facilitate multidisciplinary improvement initiatives.
Provide crucial support of our growth plans.
Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience Seven years of progressive administrative experience, generally in a hospital, health care or similar service industry, to become proficient in managing quality of care and financial performance over an assigned hospital service line. Preferred five or more years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Proven success in impacting operational efficiency across the health system, with experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed environment. Leadership style defined by empathy, accountability, clarity and collaboration.
A Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or a related field may be substituted for experience on a 1:1 basis.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Bachelor’s.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience supporting operational innovation, AI‑enabled operational enhancements or transformative operational initiatives.
Ability to implement sustainable change and help teams adopt new approaches.
