Position Overview The Vice President will partner with clients to drive strategic initiatives across the various pillars of the Consello platform with a specific focus on investor engagement and key issues that impact the client’s equity valuation or share price. The role will provide a unique opportunity to work with C‑Suite teams of many of the most influential corporations in the world to help them develop, lay out and execute on their long‑term business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with leadership on engagements to drive strategic initiatives for our clients including developing long‑term transformation plans, gaining buy‑in from internal stakeholders and enabling share price appreciation through improved investor positioning
Coordinating the creation of analysis packets for clients outlining financial results, stock price performance, investor feedback, changes to institutional shareholder base, etc.
Assisting with setting the strategic direction of and drafting and development of client materials, including investor presentations, corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets and Q&A documents
Leading ideation for developing potential avenues of engagement for new client prospects
Training and mentoring junior team members and support the continued development of an inclusive culture and diverse team.
Monitoring published research and other sources to identify important industry trends and competitor initiatives
Researching and identifying potential institutional investors for clients
Creating and responding to various ad‑hoc information requests from clients
Attending industry events and conferences
Representing Consello in the market and acting as an evangelist for the platform
Partnering closely with the senior leadership team to establish Consello’s differentiated brand and product offering and ensure a best‑in‑class client experience at all touchpoints
Implementing efficient and scalable processes and systems to help build a category leading platform on a global scale
Professional Qualifications
7+ years of relevant work experience, within financial services, financially focused operating role at a public company, or consulting
Strong financial and analytical experience required
Comfort interacting with senior level executives of public companies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of executing projects independently
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Detail oriented by nature and not afraid to dig into issues at the lowest level of detail
Ability to translate high‑level goals into actionable plans and solutions
Influencing and motivational skills working with people at all levels in a variety of job functions
Track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
Personal Characteristics
An action‑oriented self‑starter and leader who can drive strategy and execution with a “roll up the sleeves” approach
Strong executive presence and ability to maintain a steady and poised manner in an environment where there are a variety of personalities and differing opinions
