Job Summary Join Lockheed Martin Space as a Program Management Staff – Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Acquisition/Proposal Lead. In this role you will lead proposal development and acquisition strategy for THAAD contracts, focusing on commercial items supply chain, and coordinate technical and schedule requirements with internal experts.

Responsibilities • Work as a THAAD Acquisition/Proposal Lead for future efforts/contracts and acquisition strategy with a focus on commercial items supply chain.

• Lead the THAAD New Business Team – provide leadership, oversight, and acquisition strategy to the THAAD FMS, ACD, TPSC, Production, and future contracts.

• Develop material bids to support and evolve program needs into fully defined, on‑contract projects with the U.S. Government.

• Manage the entire acquisition life cycle from pre‑coordination with Government, developing Program Management Estimates (PMEs), Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs) and Proposals, and supporting negotiations.

• Coordinate technical and schedule requirements with internal Lockheed Martin Subject Matter Experts. Work effectively in fast‑paced, dynamic environments and support advanced assignments.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

Previous experience as an interface or representative to internal and/or external customers/stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience presenting to Directors and/or higher.

US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience with proposal products (Specifically CBOMs/PBOMs and IPLs).

Previous experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation.

Experience in project management, finance, systems engineering, and/or new business efforts.

Strong organization, analytical, presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills.

Able to develop strategic process improvement for the assigned team and look for ways to implement in the organization.

Challenge‑driven employee with proven track record of meeting objectives and executing on commitments.

Ability to manage escalations and appropriately communicate to all stakeholders and executive staff.

Familiarity with business processes (invoicing, billing, funding, etc.) in the context of prime and subcontracts.

Experience with IDIQ contracts.

Familiarity with THAAD weapon system elements, capabilities and CONOPS.

Previous Supply Chain Experience particularly in the Space BA and/or MFC BAs.

Ability to travel if/as needed.
