Overview The Marketing Coordinator for Alaska Collection supports the TAC & larger Pursuit marketing teams by coordinating marketing activities that drive visitation and revenue growth at TAC. The position is based in Anchorage, Alaska and reports directly to the Marketing Manager, Alaska.

Responsibilities

Support the Marketing Manager, Alaska Collection, and the larger Pursuit marketing team to ensure each line of business within Alaska achieves revenue targets.

Execute in-market collateral and signage plans; update go‑to‑market strategies and promotional events with a focus on priority businesses, new activations, and guest journey touchpoints in Alaska.

Assist the digital team in collecting and generating content for the Pursuit website and other digital communications as directed.

Manage the storage of marketing assets, including images, electronic files, and the creative archive library within our digital asset management system.

Perform tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager, such as placing local advertising, executing affiliate marketing initiatives, managing small creative projects, supporting business month‑end administrative tasks, and organizing Asana and marketing forms.

Support the social media and content marketing teams by collecting photo and video content and identifying new content opportunities.

Assist with the implementation of media and influencer marketing visits, including on‑site hosting as required.

Align priorities with Revenue, Operations, and Senior Leadership teams; serve as the on‑ground marketing contact for collaborators.

Establish processes for seasonal accuracy monitoring and updating.

Coordinate marketing requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Support the larger marketing team with in‑destination projects for Alaska (property tours, photoshoots, content collection, etc.).

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of marketing experience.

Excellent written and creative writing skills.

University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communication, Tourism, or Graphic Design is an asset.

Basic understanding of Adobe CS is an asset; emphasis on Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom.

Competence with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.

Familiarity with website CMS systems.

Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Good brand representation judgment.

Experience with photography and videography is an asset.

Desire to work in a fast‑paced organization.

Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.

Ability to work both as a team member and independently.

Valid driver's license.

Valid passport (can be obtained post‑hire).

Ability to travel with overnight stays as needed.
