Insight Global is seeking a
Mortgage Underwriter III
to support a large financial services client in a business‑as‑usual capacity. This individual will manage a pipeline of loans through the loss mitigation process, utilizing Excel‑based tools to drive underwriting decisions and preparing customer communications in Word for outbound mail delivery. The role is highly process‑driven and back‑office focused, offering meaningful borrower impact by helping homeowners navigate financial hardship. This is a great opportunity to build underwriting and default servicing expertise while working within a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment.
3+ years of underwriting experience
Banking experience in an underwriting role
Default servicing experience
Hands‑on experience with
Fiserv Sagent
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially
Excel
Plusses
Loss mitigation or hardship servicing experience
Experience managing loan pipelines
Manage a pipeline of loans through loss mitigation decisioning
Use Excel‑based tools to track and evaluate loan statuses
Prepare and send customer communications using Microsoft Word
Handle correspondence via regular mail and UPS
Collaborate with internal teams (minimal meetings – ~30 min/day)
Perform back‑office underwriting work (no phone work)
Exact rate is based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
