Looking for a Tax Senior who's ready to level up their career.
Our client is an established CPA firm in New Jersey that gets what work-life balance means. They're growing, they invest in their people, and they need someone who can handle complex tax work while mentoring junior staff.
What You'll Be Doing You’ll manage your own client portfolio with direct partner exposure. This isn’t a role where you’re stuck in the weeds forever. You’ll handle complex federal, state, and local returns across individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Tax research, client advisory, and identifying planning opportunities are part of your day‑to‑day. The mentorship piece is real. You’ll supervise staff and interns while getting involved in client strategy and business development. When IRS notices or state audits come up, you’ll handle them.
What We Need
CPA license (required) or actively pursuing
3‑5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
Strong federal and state tax compliance and planning knowledge
Proficiency with tax software (CCH ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing it
Leadership and mentoring experience
Bonus:
Master’s in Taxation, high‑net‑worth client experience, or QuickBooks familiarity
