This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Development located in Albuquerque, NM. The Director of Development will lead and execute fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, oversee planned and annual giving programs, and manage philanthropic initiatives. Additional responsibilities include creating and managing budgets, identifying and stewarding fundraising opportunities, and collaborating with leadership to achieve organizational goals. The role requires strategic vision, proactive planning, and implementation of effective development efforts to ensure sustainable funding for the organization. Qualifications

Expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies Strong understanding of Philanthropy and the ability to cultivate meaningful donor relationships Experience in Budgeting processes and fiscal responsibility Proven track record in Fundraising and securing financial support Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in donor database management and fundraising technology Ability to create and execute comprehensive development plans Passion for the mission of supporting individuals and families through grief Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred) Minimum of 3 years of experience in development or a related field (5 preferred)
