THE ROLE Associate Photographers are responsible for the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, they create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each photographer services a core territory and works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and the management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support marketing efforts on our marketplace by capturing 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments.
Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to strategically evaluate priorities.
Own the market: while not working on a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identifying new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed.
Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying necessary to perform job functions.
Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of professional experience.
Real Estate Photography experience required.
Experience working as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography.
Experienced Drone Photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time management skills and very detail-oriented.
Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
Satisfactory completion of a driving record check prior to start.
COMPENSATION The Associate Photographer position is hourly with bonus‑eligible performance metrics. The base pay is equivalent to $50,000 annually, with the opportunity for monthly bonuses.
