Commercial Construction Superintendent
MSF Hospitality is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction General Superintendent to oversee multiple project sites, ensuring each project is executed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. You'll be managing superintendents, coordinating resources, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. The General Superintendent reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project completion. This role is ideal for someone who is solution‑oriented, highly organized, and thrives working independently.

Responsibilities
Manage on‑site construction activities across assigned projects
Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of site superintendents
Foster a positive and productive work environment
Plan and delegate responsibilities to assistant superintendents for all projects
Communicate clearly and professionally with the project team and subcontractors
Provide mentoring and oversight to Assistant Superintendents as needed
Help site supers coordinate activities of all subcontractors across multiple sites
Ensure site supers conduct regular meetings with subcontractors to align with project goals
Help develop and maintain project schedules
Ensure projects stay on schedule through effective planning and resource management
Manage material and equipment logistics
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols
Ensure site superintendents lead weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks
Monitor the budget and identify potential cost overruns
Identify potential owner change orders and elevate to project management
Track and distribute any changes to plans through RFIs or bulletins
Review Superintendents’ RFIs prior to elevating them to project management
Qualifications
10 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar role
Strong leadership, time management, and coordination skills
Proven ability to oversee multiple subcontractors and manage field logistics
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with construction documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
Compensation & Benefits
Full‑time position
Competitive salary at $85,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience
