About The Role The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for delivering world‑class creative assets that align with the organization’s image, identity and established brand(s). The position is part of the Graphic Design job function within the Midwest Marketing department.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Development: Create and modify both print and on‑screen property marketing materials—such as brochures, signage, wayfinding, social media assets, floorplan flyers and team‑related templates—in custom or defined branding.
Brand Integrity: When working within the CBRE brand and/or a client’s brand, ensure all artwork and copy follow branding guidelines regarding size, type, tone and style.
Design Expansion: Understand an existing custom brand to build out additional cohesive deliverables.
Collaboration: Interface well with clients, brokers and managers to understand each assignment, ask clarifying questions and make design‑related recommendations in a professional manner.
Professional Growth: Strive for continued success of self, team and CBRE by staying ahead of design trends, industry standards and technical knowledge.
Efficiency & Quality: Utilize AI and internal tools to work strategically and follow best practices to ensure all requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.

What You’ll Need
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in art, marketing, advertising or journalism is required.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably from a real estate or marketing background.
Technical Software: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator at a minimum) and general knowledge of advanced Adobe integrations like Firefly.
General Software: In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is preferred.
Problem Solving: The ability to use existing procedures to solve problems and apply standard principles with limited practical experience.
Analytical Skills: Experience with analyzing information, standard practices and feedback to make informed judgments.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, an inquisitive mindset and a dedicated work ethic that desires to thrive.
Location: Be in‑office at least two days per week in Downtown Chicago.
Benefits The role offers a salary range of $63,000 to $73,000 annually, discretionary bonus opportunities and benefits including 401(K), Dental, Health, Life and Vision insurance.
