Vama is building a next-generation chat application with integrated banking functionality for the U.S. market. Our platform combines real-time communication with seamless financial services to create a unified digital experience for modern users.
We are currently in active development with our banking-as-a-service partner and are working closely to meet all regulatory, compliance, and technical requirements for launch. Our mission is to redefine how individuals interact with money—making financial services more intuitive, embedded, and accessible.
The Role We are seeking a licensed Series 7 Investor Relations Representative to support investor communications, onboarding, and capital activity as we scale toward launch. This individual will act as a registered representative, ensuring all investor interactions meet regulatory standards while delivering a professional and compliant investor experience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of capital markets, compliance, and financial technology.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a registered point of contact for current and prospective investors
Respond to investor inquiries regarding capital structure, fundraising progress, and company updates
Support investor onboarding, subscription documentation, and suitability review
Ensure compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations in all investor communications
Maintain accurate CRM records and investor documentation
Assist with capital calls, distributions, and reporting processes
Partner with Compliance, Legal, and executive leadership on fundraising initiatives
Participate in investor meetings, webinars, and roadshow presentations
Help establish scalable investor communication workflows ahead of product launch
Required Qualifications
Active Series 7 license (in good standing)
Series 63 or Series 66 license (preferred or willingness to obtain)3+ years of experience in broker-dealer, fintech, capital markets, or private fundraising environment
Strong understanding of securities regulations and suitability requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline
Ability to operate in a startup, pre-launch environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Reg D, Reg CF, or Reg A+ offerings
Familiarity with banking-as-a-service models or embedded finance
Experience supporting venture-backed or early-stage companies
Background in private placements or alternative investments
