
ATC Agent 5 (Regional Director)

We’re looking for an ATC Agent 5 to join our Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control team to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations through the monitoring and inspection of those licensed with, or seeking licensure from, the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

Qualifications
Six years of experience in active military service or in law enforcement.
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in active military service or in law enforcement.
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience for a maximum of four years of the required experience.
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
Possession of a current Louisiana driver’s license.
This position requires the incumbent to handle and carry firearms.
Possession of an active Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification.
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Job Duties
Oversee and manage Compliance and Inspection Services in Region 1A and Region 1B.
Monitor and report division performance.
Assist the ATC Commissioner in developing enforcement procedures and assure their proper execution.
Issue administrative and criminal violation citations and make arrests for violations of criminal law.

Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
