Position Overview
The University of Alaska – Anchorage (UAA) seeks an innovative and collaborative leader to serve as its next Director of Athletics ("AD" or the "Director"). Located in Anchorage — Alaska's largest city and gateway to world-class outdoor adventure — UAA offers a distinctive opportunity to lead a nationally recognized National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and II athletics program in one of the most unique settings in higher education. The AD will join the Chancellor's leadership team at a pivotal moment for the university and Seawolf Athletics. Experienced leaders with a strong record of leadership success in intercollegiate athletics. Preference for candidates with NCAA Division I and/or II experience.
