Business Analyst, Operational Excellence & Strategy

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will collaborate with campus stakeholders and team members to aid in research and analysis, involving both qualitative and quantitative information as part of the Operational Excellence & Strategy team. They will develop financial and other models using Excel and other tools. Their efforts will assist project teams to develop insights, make well‑informed decisions and produce improved results and outcomes with oversight. Responsibilities

Support the Operational Excellence team with data analysis and modeling, utilizing Excel at a high level Produce professional PowerPoint presentations to summarize data, give recommendations, and guide decision making Support project owners and internal team members with utilizing a project management platform, ensuring updates are entered regularly and accurately Serve as a liaison with data, marketing, and finance teams Participate in team meetings and discussions, occasionally facilitating and/or note‑taking for the team Work alongside project teams to support development of financial projections and business cases Create and update internal and external documentation ensuring current and accurate information Capabilities

Strong analytical and model‑building experience High degree of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software Understanding of data visualization and governance best practices Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Understanding of higher education financial and operational structures, a plus Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) with up to 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree. Assumes a work‑equivalency (1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience). Minimum Qualifications: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
