Responsibilities

Work with your team using leasing experience and can‑do attitude to carry out day‑to‑day operations of the property.

Improve the lives of residents and applicants through friendly, caring interactions.

Use eye‑for‑detail and software/organizational skills to keep files organized and the office functioning like a well‑oiled machine.

Acquire required certifications & licenses, become proficient with systems & processes, and grow your career.

Communicate all problems and special cases, making recommendations to the Property Manager and Property Supervisor.

Process recertifications (set up interviews, assist with forms, follow up, perform rent calculations, prepare leases).

Inspect site grounds and common hallways regularly.

Monitor make‑ready status of vacant apartments.

Conduct housekeeping home visits, marketing outreach to local agencies and businesses.

Act as liaison and advocate on behalf of residents to public and private agencies.

Carry out rent collection program and follow‑up procedures for delinquent rent and evictions in accordance with HHDC policies.

Assist in supervising office staff, maintenance staff, and contract workers.

Mandatory Job Qualifications

High school diploma (minimum). Some college preferred.

Affordable housing experience a must.

2+ years of multi‑family property management experience.

Must have or obtain leasing license within 6 months of hire.

Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with MS Office Suite and property management software.

Vehicle, insurance, and good driving record required.

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
