Position Overview We’re seeking a thoughtful and detail‑oriented Commercial Lending Analyst to support both new business and portfolio management efforts. This role partners closely with lending teams to evaluate credit opportunities, provide clear risk insights, and help drive informed, timely decisions.

You’ll play a key role in analyzing financials, structuring deals, and contributing to a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements to assess credit risk, including cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and leverage

Perform financial statement spreading and calculate key credit metrics

Prepare clear, well‑structured credit approval memos outlining risks, strengths, and recommendations

Evaluate collateral, industry trends, and borrower performance

Support portfolio management, including covenant testing, reporting, and ongoing monitoring

Participate in pipeline and deal discussions, providing input on structure and risk

Approve loans within assigned authority and recommend credits outside of authority limits

Maintain a strong understanding of internal credit policies and procedures

Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

5+ years of commercial underwriting or analytics

Strong understanding of financial accounting and credit principles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsComfortable working both independently and as part of a team
