Waterborne Egress Capability Field Service Representative

This position primarily will be working with the Water Egress Capability (WEC) system directly supporting Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) operations, in partnership with Program Manager Advance Amphibious Assault (PM AAA). The Field Service Representative (FSR) shall have in-depth knowledge of the operation, maintenance, employment, fielding, and sustainment support requirements of the WEC equipment. The FSR shall perform all WEC related preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with the supporting published USMC Technical Manuals. The FSR shall perform all equipment warranty related efforts, accomplish place-in-service inspections, system kitting, distribution, and complete scheduled WEC component repairs or re-builds.

The FSR shall provide operation/maintenance training for Assault Amphibian Unit personnel as required. The FSR shall be certified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for repairs.

The FSR shall have full access to Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) transactions to document completed preventative and corrective maintenance actions, initiate/open supporting Service Requests, and perform requisite post preventative/corrective maintenance Quality Control checks. The FSR shall prepare and submit Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR), as required.

Required Skills

Possess a current US passport or ability to obtain one within 30 days of task order award.

Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS on short notice.

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC)

Ability to read a Technical Data Package and provide comments.

Strong analytical, verbal, and written communications skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently as well as part of an Integrated Product Team.

Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)

Experience with GCSS-MC

Required Experience

The FSR will provide in-depth knowledge of equipment for assistance in mishap investigations involving AAVs/ACVs and associated equipment.

The FSR will provide in-depth knowledge of systems operation and repair, assisting Marines perform scheduled and corrective maintenance, performing engineering drawing review and comment, technical manual review, equipment inspection, failure analysis, repair and installation of Modifications, and Marine Corps Maintenance Procedures.

The FSRs shall have the capacity to analyze the requirements above, and provide a response in writing with a presentation, letter format, or verbally as directed by the Government.
