Job Title: Regional Director of Operations
The Regional Director of Operations is accountable for driving measurable performance across all clinics within their region. This role owns the execution of operational strategy with a clear focus on KPI performance, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. The Regional Director will oversee multiple clinic locations.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to consistently improve key metrics, develop high‑performing teams, and scale operational best practices across the region.

Reporting Structure
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Direct Reports: Operations Managers
Core Responsibilities KPI Ownership & Performance Management
Own regional performance across key metrics including patient volume, provider productivity, revenue, and patient experience.
Actively monitor performance dashboards to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Hold Operations Managers accountable to KPI targets.
Lead regular performance reviews with actionable insights.
Growth Strategy & Execution
Drive growth initiatives to increase patient volume and optimize schedules.
Partner with Physician Liaisons to align outreach with data‑driven opportunities.
Evaluate market dynamics and referral patterns.
Implement and iterate initiatives based on results.
Operational Excellence & Efficiency
Standardize clinic operations to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Partner with finance to ensure strong financial performance.
Align workflows with financial outcomes.
Quality, Compliance & Patient Experience
Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
Drive quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor and improve patient experience.
Team Development & Accountability
Recruit and develop high‑performing teams.
Establish a culture of accountability.
Conduct performance evaluations focused on results.
Coach leaders on execution and problem‑solving.
Communication & Alignment
Communicate performance and priorities clearly.
Lead structured, data‑driven meetings.
Act as liaison between clinics and leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
Strong analytical and performance‑driven mindset.
Proven success improving KPIs.
Understanding of healthcare operations and compliance.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
