Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a

Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN

to serve as

Associate Program Director (APD)

for a new community-based OB/GYN Residency Program, anticipated to launch

Summer 2027 . This role combines

meaningful educational leadership

with OB/GYN clinical practice in a collaborative, hospital-employed environment. All clinical duties are supported by a collegial generalist OB/GYN team & dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist team, eliminating night call and supporting strong work‑life balance. The Opportunity

The Associate Program Director works in close partnership with the Program Director to support the educational, operational, and cultural development of the residency program while maintaining an active clinical practice. Support the Program Director in residency administration, curriculum, and program improvement Participate in and support scholarly activity and QI with institutional research support Contribute to program operations and compliance efforts through committee involvement, evaluation processes, faculty development activities, and recruitment Teach and mentor OB/GYN residents and medical students in inpatient, outpatient, Labor & Delivery, and operative settings Provide supervised clinical education and feedback during routine patient care Support a positive, hands‑on learning environment grounded in community-based practice Practice Culture & Collegiality
