
Commercial Lines Account Manager

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our commercial clients, as well as taking prospective/renewal commercial insurance submissions to market with our insurance carrier partners to find competitive insurance solutions that add value for the client.
Responsibilities
Assist with implementation of new processes and procedures as needed
Work with Business Development Executives and Marketing Associates to obtain the information necessary to market new and renewal submissions
Market new and renewal business to carrier/broker partners
Enter new prospects/clients in the agency management system
Update renewal applications in the agency management system
Facilitate completion of any applications needed
Review quotes, policies, coverages and endorsements for accuracy
Prepare premium comparisons
Review contracts for insurance/certificate requirements
Troubleshoot audits, accounts receivables, others as needed
Issue certificates of insurance as needed
Invoice as needed
Utilize the agency management system for established processes and procedures
Maintain all necessary licenses
Pursue additional training and insurance education annually
Back up to others in the office as needed
All other reasonable duties and responsibilities
Requirements
All necessary insurance licenses obtained prior to start date
Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
Good listening skills and ability to identify client needs and expectations
