Position Leasing Manager – Paradise Island Apartments, South Jacksonville. The role supervises leasing and marketing for the property and provides direct supervision of three Leasing Consultants.
Summary The Leasing Manager is responsible for the complete leasing process with prospective residents, execution of marketing strategies, and delivery of a positive resident experience. Duties include leasing, marketing (including social media postings), planning and hosting resident events, maintaining resident relations, and potentially supervising Leasing Consultants.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain their needs and qualifications.
Accompany prospects to model or vacant apartments and discuss layout, amenities, and lease terms.
Ensure consistent follow‑up with prospects.
Process applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
Process lease renewals.
Mentor and train Leasing Consultants.
Walk all move‑ins prior to move‑in dates to ensure readiness.
Follow up with new residents after move‑in.
Inspect premises periodically and arrange for necessary maintenance.
Plan and coordinate resident events.
Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Manage all marketing duties, including preparation of market surveys and social media postings.
Assist with issuing all resident notices.
Weekend work may be required.
Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
Experience as a leasing professional.
Up to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience with virtual and in‑person community tours.
Working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
Marketing skills and ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media, and resident functions.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship‑building, and customer service skills.
Strong social media and marketing skills are preferred.
Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required depending on the property.
