Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team. This role plays a critical part in securing new business and ensuring financial success by developing precise cost projections and supporting project teams from preconstruction through execution. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, leadership capability, and strong analytical expertise.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.
Oversee the full estimating lifecycle, from initial bid review through final proposal delivery.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify risks and cost drivers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Ensure all estimates align with the company's financial goals and project timelines.
Provide ongoing cost guidance and support to project management teams during project execution.
Required Qualifications
10+ years
of construction estimating experience with a proven record of successful bids.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in
Construction Management , Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, Bid2Win, or HCSS HeavyBid.
Experience with
BIM tools , including Revit or Navisworks.
Experience in estimating large-scale or complex construction projects.
