The Technical Sales Specialist’s primary responsibility is to provide proposals/quotes for customized projects by focusing on an in‑depth understanding of customer needs, formulating an effective analytical solution, and developing relationships with customers. Our analytical laboratory in St. Louis serves as an analytical R&D team for our customers. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment requiring in‑depth technical knowledge and exemplary customer service skills. Employees are expected to comply with ISO 27001 standard and company information‑security requirements. This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons, as defined by ITAR. Qualifications
PhD/MS or B.S in Chemistry or equivalent education and experience. Prior experience (academic or industrial) in chemistry. Prior experience in sales or project management. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and effective interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Must handle multiple functions simultaneously while maintaining good organization. What would set you apart?
Experience with organic chemistry, extractables/leachables, polymer chemistry, or chemical characterization for assessing biocompatibility. Knowledge of FTIR, NMR, GC/MS, LC/MS, thermal analysis, GPC, SEM/EDS. Strong writing and speaking skills. We encourage you to apply even if your experience is not a 100% match.
