Educational and Experience Requirement Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Five years of experience in fundraising, membership, and/or marketing.

Nature & Purpose Of Position Performs complex managerial work providing direction and guidance in operations and planning for other annual giving programs with oversight of the Director. Organize and manage volunteers in support of the University’s strategic plan and goals.

Primary Responsibilities Grows and retains annual donors to the University. Seeks new annual giving strategies and growth opportunities. Identifies major gift prospects through annual gifts. Plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the annual Faculty and Staff Campaign to increase faculty and staff participation under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving. Organizes and implements staff leadership (i.e. volunteers) and recognition programs. Develops annual strategies, goals, and objectives for annual giving. Oversees and approves schedules, priorities and standards for achieving goals. Develops, implements, and evaluates policies and procedures and oversees compliance with policies and procedures for annual giving. Oversees the preparation of management and productivity reports for programs including faculty and staff campaign, online giving, and other “giving days” and “giving campaigns”. Manages programs to increase engagement and annual giving support such as Senior Class Legacy, young alumni activities, fiscal year-end solicitations, and produces all email solicitations. Monitors budget expenditures. Makes decisions independently under the authority of the director when the director is absent. Enforces department policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to manage business functions. This position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
