We are seeking an experienced
Senior Construction Engineer
to lead the execution of a major residential development project in Puerto Rico.
This role will oversee the construction of
92 single-family homes , managing the full technical, administrative, and contractual execution of the project. The selected professional will play a key leadership role, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior construction professional who enjoys leading complex projects while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full execution of a residential development project through completion
Oversee construction of homes, infrastructure, and related works
Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor project schedule, budget, and quality standards
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants
Review contracts, cost estimates, change orders, and payment certifications
Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements
Provide project progress and financial updates to leadership
Mentor and support junior engineering team members
Qualifications
Civil Engineer or construction professional with relevant technical background
10–15+ years of experience in residential construction or development
Experience managing housing developments or residential communities
Strong experience coordinating contractors and construction teams
Knowledge of construction permitting and regulations in Puerto Rico
Proven experience managing construction budgets and schedules
