A leading energy company is seeking a Business Development Manager, Capital Deployment to drive financing strategies for large-scale battery storage projects. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading a small team focused on structuring innovative financial solutions, building strategic partnerships, and launching new investment vehicles to accelerate project deployment and market growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end capital deployment process, including opportunity sourcing, deal structuring, risk assessment, and execution Develop and standardize financial products such as term loans, construction financing, and bridge loans for global customers Build and maintain relationships with banks, private equity firms, and institutional investors Create scalable investment structures to expand market reach and maximize capital efficiency Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience) 10+ years of experience in project finance, banking, or investments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong background in renewable energy or energy storage financing preferred Proven success in structuring and closing complex financial transactions Experience launching funds or similar investment initiatives Deep understanding of the U.S. utility-scale energy market, including regulatory and market dynamics Knowledge of full project development lifecycle (feasibility, permitting, EPC, operations) International experience (Latin America, Europe, or Middle East) is a plus Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package starting on day one Medical, dental, and vision plans (including low-cost options) Retirement plans with employer contributions and stock purchase opportunities Generous paid time off, holidays, and flexible scheduling Family support benefits, including fertility and adoption assistance Wellness programs and employee assistance resources Additional voluntary benefits (legal, insurance, and more)
