Director of Accounting & SEC Reporting

Manage all external (SEC) reporting, including Form 10-Q, 10-K, proxy documents, Section 16 filings and provide financial information for all other external reporting. Manage consolidations and subsidiary relationships Collaborate with accounting team on accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger, including journal entry review and day-to-day operations. Collaborate with accounting team on accounting on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, account reconciliations and produce all financial statements. Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed to facilitate management decisions. Perform technical accounting research and author accounting memos to ensure the appropriate application of generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (US GAAP). Manage relationships with auditors, transfer agent, tax consultants, and other service providers. Develop accounting team members by providing training, coaching, reviewing and performance feedback. Manage accounting and finance software applications and implement tools, as needed.
