Position Overview The New Residential Sales Summer Intern will support the Sales team within the New Residential segment through lead development, market outreach, and foundational business exposure. This internship offers a mentorship opportunity where the selected candidate will gain hands‑on experience in sales strategy, business acumen, and customer development within the residential construction market. This internship is structured as a project‑based experience to be completed within the 12‑week program. The position is located at the Dallas Corporate office and is an onsite internship opportunity. The selected intern will present project outcomes at our annual Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 – Friday, August 7, 2026
Length: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Full‑time, hourly
Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day
Project Scope & Responsibilities Mentorship & Business Development Exposure
Partner with Sales leadership to gain insight into residential sales strategy
Develop foundational business acumen within the New Residential segment
Learn pipeline management, customer segmentation, and revenue tracking
Lead Generation & Market Outreach
Cold‑call custom builders to generate qualified leads for the field sales team
Utilize regional Zonda market data to identify targeted builder prospects
Develop and maintain lead tracking documentation
Support follow‑up and coordination with the field sales team
Market Intelligence Support
Analyze regional builder data and trends
Assist in identifying growth opportunities within key markets
Support reporting on lead conversion and opportunity development
Project Impact
Generate qualified leads that support field sales growth
Strengthen data‑driven outreach within the New Residential segment
Provide measurable pipeline contribution
Support long‑term business development efforts
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable making outbound cold calls
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools
Strong organizational and follow‑up skills
