Cabinet Designer

Seeking a strong cabinet layout designer to prepare detailed designs in AutoCAD. You must have the ability to prepare detailed cabinet designs in accordance with client specifications with an understanding the details and using critical thinking to guide clients and create a functional layout for installation and usage. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Strong knowledge of assembly of cabinet components, dimensions, and details is required Prior experience in a mill shop or doing mill work strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal English communication skills is required Excellent problem-solving skills Experience CAD cabinetry design layout is required AutoCAD is a preferred, any CAD experience will be considered Experience in custom cabinets for kitchens and baths Thorough understanding and experience using CAD to draft custom cabinetry layout around corners, for design clearance, sliding doors, lighting, appliances, access, openings, and other details is required to ensure proper installation and use Design layout experience is required Experience designing custom cabinets, ability to draw the layout of the kitchen and engineering technical layout for cabinet shop Microsoft office specifically Word and Excel Ability to understand cabinetry construction, and building of detail shop drawings for specialty items Strong cabinetry or mill work experience to procure materials and to ensure and fewer mistakes in the field Strong understanding of cabinet installation to avoid mistakes Ability to price and input orders for cabinetry accessories Ability to accurately field measure at a job site We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
