Responsibilities The Powertrain Senior Designer position is for a highly skilled and experienced designer for the Powertrain Design Services group. The primary responsibilities include performing packaging, concept, design, layout, and checking related assemblies and components.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma
Minimum 7 years' design experience
Extensive experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter
Strong written and oral communications to lead design and packaging meetings
Strong organization, planning and data management skills
PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or a technology related discipline
Experience in the design of sheet metal, injection moldings, complex castings and precision machined components
Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
