BASE Xperiential (BX) productions harness the magic of mixed-media, holographic, and live entertainment to deliver unique, dynamic, immersive experiences to audiences and stages around the world. BASE has already developed a library of compelling content, including holographic productions of Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Maria Callas, and Whitney Houston, as well as its premiere educational entertainment film, Dinosaur Discoveries: A Holographic Adventure. The company strives to develop both educational and entertaining content that is visually stimulating and brought to life with application for presentation in a wide range of venues, from casinos and cruise ships to theme parks and museums. HoloTheater, developed by BX, combines large-scale holograms with 150+ degree film projections, providing a next-generation 3D audience experience and delivery platform for educational and entertainment content, tailored for a range of spaces at museums, zoos, aquariums, and other destinations.
The company’s growing HoloTheater division seeks an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Marketing Manager to help lead the implementation of our marketing strategy across HoloTheater venues. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for multiple HoloTheater venues
Plan and execute campaigns to drive ticket sales, new experience launches, seasonal promotions, and special events
Align local venue marketing efforts with overall HoloTheater brand strategy
Manage campaign calendars and promotional timelines across locations
Digital & Performance Marketing
Oversee digital marketing channels including email, social media, paid ads, and web promotions
Track performance metrics (attendance, conversion rates, ROI) and optimize campaigns
Analyze campaign performance across social, email, PR, trade, and partner channels to optimize ROI and inform future campaigns
Support online ticketing promotions and audience targeting strategies
Coordinate content creation, including photos, videos, and promotional assets
Oversee HoloTheater website content, UX, and SEO to drive engagement and ticket sales.
Manage CRM campaigns, including email segmentation, automation, and loyalty programs, to maximize repeat visitation
Lead creative development for campaigns including messaging, visual assets, and promotional concepts across all channels.
Collaborate with design and media teams to ensure campaign creative aligns with HoloTheater brand standards.
Local Venue Marketing Support
Partner with General Managers to develop localized marketing initiatives
Provide toolkits and promotional materials for in-venue and community outreach
Support grassroots marketing efforts such as street teams, local events, and tourism outreach
Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all venues and marketing channels
Group Sales, Events & Promotional Partnerships
Create targeted campaigns to support group ticket sales, including schools, corporate outings, and private events
Develop promotional materials and outreach strategies for private screenings and buyouts
Collaborate with sales teams to generate qualified leads and increase booking inquiries
Collaborate with venue General Managers in identifying and establishing cross-promotional partnerships with complementary brands, attractions, hotels, restaurants, etc.
Develop campaigns and materials for trade, corporate, schools, camps, OTAs, and other group channels.
Identify, negotiate, and manage promotional partnerships with external organizations to enhance audience reach and venue visibility.
Qualifications
4–7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in entertainment, attractions, hospitality, or experiential brands
Proven success managing multi-location or regional marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and paid advertising
Experience supporting event marketing or group sales promotions
Experience with CRM, PR, B2B/trade marketing, and partnership marketing
Experience with CRM systems and database marketing preferred
Proven ability to manage PR/media campaigns and trade marketing initiatives
Experience working with schools, camps, corporate groups, OTAs, or similar partners preferred.
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with on-site operations teams
What Success Looks Like A successful Marketing Manager will effectively collaborate cross-functionally with the BX executive team and HoloTheater General Managers, serving as an important liaison between the HoloTheater brand vision and local marketing strategy for each HoloTheater location. The Marketing Manager will implement marketing campaigns that increase attendance and revenue across all HoloTheater venues, support venue promotions and new film experience launches, support the growth of group and event business, and serve an integral role in building the HoloTheater brand in each venue market.
