Summary The Product Owner (Agile) (PO) is the primary advocate of the customer and the strategy inside each Agile Team. They are part of the larger Product Management function and maintain alignment with the Solution Vision throughout development. The PO aligns the Agile Team's efforts with the organization's strategic goals, viewing them through a customer’s eyes. By managing the needs of stakeholders, the PO guides the evolution of the Solution to deliver maximum value.

Responsibilities

Maintain current user community and program-related business process re-engineering data.

Examine and provide a comprehensive and continuous BPR assessment for the US Army Accessions Environment.

Provide best practices, lessons learned and recommendations regarding accessions management in a monthly report form.

Shall identify, document, and inform teams in writing of any functionality gaps between solution development and re-engineered business process architecture at a minimum of twice a month.

Provide additional support as needed.

Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge

Requires vision, excellent communication skills, and exceptional decision‑making.

Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a business discipline such as business analytics, business information systems, business administration, logistics, statistics, sociology, political science, or finance.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or project management.

Demonstrated experience in Army Accessions.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications

Any additional related certifications.

Experience working with U.S. Army or Department of Defense programs.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
