About the Role: The Packaging Specialist is a critical role within the Brand & Marketing team, responsible for owning and maintaining all packaging updates across Grön’s multi-state markets. This individual serves as the central point of contact for packaging compliance, accuracy, and execution—ensuring all packaging remains current, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.

This role partners cross-functionally with Compliance, Creative, and Supply Chain teams, as well as external print vendors, to manage packaging updates from concept through production. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of design proficiency, project management, and operational execution, with exceptional attention to detail.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3-4 days a week in our Portland OR office.

In this role you will:

Own and manage all packaging updates across markets, ensuring compliance with state‑specific regulations and internal standards

Maintain and oversee a centralized packaging database (via Airtable), ensuring all records are accurate and up to date

Partner closely with the Director of Compliance to ensure all packaging meets regulatory requirements

Collaborate with the Senior Creative Manager to execute packaging updates that align with brand guidelines and visual standards

Prepare, review, and proof packaging files for accuracy, including regulatory language, product details, and design elements

Manage timelines and workflows for packaging updates using Asana, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed

Coordinate with internal Supply Chain and Production teams to align packaging orders with forecast and production schedules

Serve as the primary liaison with external printing partners to place orders, confirm specifications, and ensure on‑time delivery

Identify opportunities to streamline packaging processes, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency across systems and workflows

You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:

You have at least two years of experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

You have at least a year of packaging design experience

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

You may have experience with Airtable, Asana, and Figma (preferred but not required)

Experience working with print production and external vendors

You have great conflict management and negotiating skills, and can navigate the team dynamic

You think critically and have great problem‑solving skills

You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment

You strive for the highest standards in every aspect of your role

You can adapt to and drive change with enthusiasm

This position has a starting salary of $60,000 /year.
