Overview
The Cyber Security Specialist Senior provides TSA’s Trusted Operations, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, Assurance, and Technology (TOMCAT) operational continuity, service excellence, security, and adaptive IT/OT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support. Integral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes. Responsibilities
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses in networks, systems, and applications.
Monitor security access and analyze system logs and network traffic for suspicious activities or potential threats.
Administer, configure, and maintain security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
Lead incident response efforts by investigating security breaches, determining the root cause, and coordinating recovery actions.
Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field.
7 years' experience in cybersecurity operations.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Secret Clearance.
