VP Tax - US & Americas

Vested Search are excited to partner with a globally established multinational within the food and trade industry, looking to hire a Head of Tax/VP Tax for the Americas and US region This is a significant role within the global leadership team, running tax strategy and planning for the region in addition to team management of individuals both in North and South America Responsibilities include: Running tax compliance and strategic tax projects for US and Americas alongside Global Head of Tax and US CFO (Restructuring/entity set up, acquisitions and disposals) Transfer pricing tax management alongside specialists both internally and externally Tax policy management, particularly in regard to international tax developments within the regions under remit of responsibility Tax risk management and wider tax compliance/accounting support, with support of team and external advisors, to ensure filing and reporting deadlines are met across the region Regular engagement with wider leadership team both in US/Americas and globally, acting as an SME for tax where required Individuals should have approximately 10-20 years experience in tax with a strong understanding of US tax principles. Wider international tax knowledge is also key Ability to operate at a senior level and work with a global team is crucial
