JUNIOR PALANTIR FOUNDRY DEVELOPER SOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERS We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Palantir Foundry Developer

to support the design, development, and optimization of data workflows and automation within the Palantir Foundry platform. This role is ideal for early‑career developers or data engineers who are eager to grow their technical skills, work with cutting‑edge data technologies, and contribute to high‑impact business outcomes.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar)

3+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related technical role

2+ years of hands‑on experience in

Palantir Foundry

or another advanced data platform at enterprise scale.

Strong proficiency in SQL – complex queries, data modeling, relational database design

Working proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development

Hands‑on familiarity with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP

Some exposure to front‑end design or UI development

Experience with TypeScript for front‑end or application‑layer development

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Databricks

Experience building Foundry Ontologies, OTs, Code Repositories, and operational applications

Knowledge of micro‑services, REST APIs, and event‑driven architectures

Effective communication skills in a cross‑functional, client‑facing environment

Ability to collaborate with executive‑level stakeholders and articulate technical concepts clearly

Strong problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail

Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.

Curiosity and a willingness to dive into complex datasets.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Fluent in English

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Build and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Foundry, covering ingestion, transformation, and integration of complex datasets

Design data models and ontology structures that support data quality, lineage, and interoperability

Write efficient Python, SQL, and Spark code to power custom transforms and workflows

Build and manage LLM‑powered workflows and agents using Palantir AIP

Translate business and operational requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders into working Foundry solutions

Support development of dashboards, data applications, and front‑end interfaces for end users

Contribute to ETL design, testing, and maintenance across cloud‑based data environments

Assist in integrating new data sources, ensuring high data quality and reliability

Help automate ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
