Position Summary The Vice President, Advisor Growth Marketing is a senior strategic leader responsible for designing, executing, and scaling organic growth programs that drive measurable business outcomes for Sanctuary Wealth’s Partner Firms. This role serves as a trusted marketing and growth partner to elite independent advisory practices, translating a deep understanding of advisor business models, client dynamics, and competitive landscapes into high-impact growth initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will lead digital marketing strategy, oversee lead generation platforms, and collaborate cross‑functionally with practice management, business development, technology, and communications teams to deliver scalable, data‑driven growth solutions. This role requires a minimum of 25% travel.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary growth marketing partner to Sanctuary’s Partner Firms, developing tailored strategies aligned to firm objectives and target client profiles.
Build consultative relationships with advisors across all stages of the independent advisory lifecycle.
Design and deliver scalable growth playbooks, toolkits, and repeatable programs to drive client acquisition, wallet share, and referrals.
Partner with practice management to identify growth gaps and implement targeted marketing solutions.
Own strategy, vendor selection, implementation, and performance management of lead generation platforms (digital advertising, SEO/SEM, etc.).
Establish ROI frameworks and adoption metrics across the partner network.
Develop structured approaches for advisors to evaluate and optimize lead generation channels.
Monitor emerging fintech, wealth, tech, and digital marketing trends.
Lead, mentor, and develop a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst.
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences to track effectiveness.
Oversee execution across website strategy, social media, email marketing, paid media, and content marketing.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and advisors.
Partner across business lines to produce compelling, compliant marketing content and collateral.
Drive multi‑channel content strategies including social, newsletters, webinars, video, and events.
Guide advisors in building and activating personal thought leadership platforms.
Design scalable, network‑wide marketing initiatives adaptable across firms and markets.
Collaborate with business development on recruitment marketing strategies.
Represent the growth marketing function at conferences, summits, and partner events.
Requirements Required Education and Experience
10–12+ years of progressive experience in marketing, growth strategy, or business development within wealth management or financial services.
Proven experience working directly with independent financial advisors, RIAs, or transitioning advisors in a consultative capacity.
Deep understanding of the independent advisory model, including P&L dynamics, client segmentation, and growth levers.
Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing lead generation platforms and digital marketing programs.
Experience managing and developing direct reports.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), marketing automation tools, and digital analytics.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Experience within an RIA aggregator, hybrid RIA, broker‑dealer, or wealth management platform/TAMP.
Knowledge of marketing compliance within financial services (FINRA, SEC advertising rules).
Experience across both traditional and digital marketing disciplines.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
