Job Summary The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Lee Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Lee Business School’s Marketing and International Business Department (R0150761). The expected start date is Fall 2027. The position is supported by a Lee Professorship endowment, providing a stipend and additional travel/research funds. Preference is given to candidates at Advanced/Senior Assistant Professor rank.

Role and Responsibilities The Lee Professorship requires

Conducting high‑quality, refereed research in marketing (strategy, branding, digital marketing, marketing analytics, AI, experiential marketing, MarTech, or related fields) that contributes to AACSB Scholarly Academic status at a Carnegie R1 institution.

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including MBA and potentially doctoral programs.

Making meaningful service contributions to the department, school, university, community, and the marketing profession.

Engaging in executive education, professional certificate programs, and applied research outreach.

Mentoring students and supporting the launch and growth of the department’s upcoming Ph.D. program.

Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Marketing (or a closely related field) from an accredited institution, obtained before the start date.

Evidence of top‑quality publications in elite marketing journals and an ongoing pipeline.

Teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Preferred Qualifications

Research interests aligned with department focus areas: marketing strategy, digital marketing and AI, experiential marketing, marketing analytics, MarTech.

Experience or interest in teaching multiple level marketing courses.

Demonstrated ability to engage faculty, industry, regulators, and professional organizations through applied research and outreach.
