Architectural Designer
Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: In-Office | Full-Time About the Role
HC Solutions Group is partnering with a growing, design-driven architecture firm to identify an Architectural Designer for its Charlotte office. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a firm known for delivering thoughtful, high-performing environments that directly support client success. This Architectural Designer role sits at the intersection of design and technical execution. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early concept through construction documentation, with a strong emphasis on precision, accountability, and buildable design solutions. Develop design concepts and translate them into clear, coordinated, and buildable solutions Produce and lead Revit-based construction document sets with a high level of accuracy and consistency Assist with site planning, building layouts, and spatial studies Build 3D models and create visualizations using tools such as SketchUp, Enscape, or Lumion Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants including MEP, structural, and civil engineers Support permitting efforts, prepare agency submission packages, and respond to review comments Participate in design discussions and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment Manage multiple project tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting Maintain a strong focus on quality, constructability, and technical execution Qualifications
Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred) Strong experience working within an architecture firm environment Proficiency in Revit required Experience with SketchUp and visualization tools such as Enscape or Lumion preferred Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to take ownership of deliverables Portfolio of work samples required Pay & Benefits
