Position Information Foundation Director

Full-time, benefits include retirement and a full family health insurance plan funded.

Salary: $65,000 minimum, negotiable, depending upon experience.

Role Overview The Foundation Director plays a leadership role in advancing the Foundation’s mission by developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies. This individual will be responsible for managing donor relationships, identifying new funding opportunities, cultivating prospects, and ensuring strong revenue growth from internal and external sources, including individuals, foundations, grants, and corporate sponsors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or Communications.

Experience with fundraising and accounting or experience in comparable positions with a college or nonprofit organization.

Dynamic, visionary leader who effectively utilizes the Foundation’s assets to advance and fulfill the mission.

Hands‑on management and oversight of operations, including management of staff and volunteers.

Engagement in fundraising to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Directing communication and marketing activities, and providing support to and serving as liaison with the Foundation’s board of directors.

Developing and maintaining relationships with community leaders, donors, stakeholders, and members.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies to secure revenue.

Manage donor relationships and cultivate prospects.

Ensure strong revenue growth through individuals, foundations, grants, and corporate sponsors.

Manage staff and volunteers, oversee day‑to‑day operations.

Conduct fundraising activities to maintain the organization’s financial health.

Direct communication and marketing activities.

Serve as liaison with the Foundation’s board of directors.

Represent the organization and build relationships with community leaders, donors, and stakeholders.
