Role Description The Associate Director of High School Ministry (9th-12th) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. This role requires an outgoing, passionate, creative leader committed to fostering spiritual growth, biblical understanding, and personal development in students during this pivotal stage of their faith journey. The Associate Director of High School Ministry will execute ministry programming, support volunteer leaders, and implement the vision and strategy of High School Ministry to foster a culture where students encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and actively engage in the life of the church. This leader demonstrates consistent relational presence and proactive engagement with students, encouraging them to find and follow Jesus.
Qualifications
Experience in youth ministry, program development, and student mentorship preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to manage teams and collaborate effectively.
A solid understanding of high school development and the ability to connect with young people on a spiritual and personal level.
Proficiency in event planning and logistics, with attention to detail and ability to manage budgets.
A passion for fostering spiritual growth and a commitment to the mission and values of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years of relevant ministry experience.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate high school programming and events.
