Cookie Finance is a rapidly growing accounting and tax technology startup for content creators. We work exclusively with creators and influencers on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok—supporting everyone from up‑and‑coming creators to digital megastars. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Tax Associate to help us continue our growth and help thousands of creators navigate their tax journey!
About The Role This is not your average tax role. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our amazing and creative clients, many of whom are industry‑leading content creators, entrepreneurs, and influencers. You won’t just be working with numbers behind the scenes—you’ll be front and center, helping clients understand and manage tax obligations with clarity and confidence. You’ll help clients navigate complex tax situations, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure they’re positioned for success come tax season and beyond.

You’re naturally detail‑oriented and love diving into intricate tax scenarios to find the best solutions for your clients. You get energized by turning tax complexity into clear, confident guidance that makes clients feel informed and empowered rather than overwhelmed.
What You’ll Own
Meet regularly with clients to develop personalized tax strategies and identify optimization opportunities
Manage preparation of complex filings including 1040, Partnership and S Corp returns alongside our staff accountants
Partner closely with team members to deliver exceptional client experiences
Take on expanding responsibilities as our firm scales, with comprehensive training and career development support
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3‑5 years of experience in tax preparation
Proficiency in QuickBooks and general accounting software
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
